Minecraft Java Edition Setup

Download Minecraft Java Edition

Make sure you have Minecraft Java Edition (not Bedrock Edition) installed on your computer.

Open Minecraft Launcher

Launch Minecraft and make sure you're using version 1.20 or newer.

Check your version in the launcher before connecting

Add Server to Your List

In Minecraft, click "Multiplayer" then "Add Server"

Server Address: play.hamesclan.com

Connect and Start Playing!

Once whitelisted, click "Done" to save the server, then double-click to connect.

You'll now have access to join and play on the server!

Open the CurseForge app, add Minecraft as a game, and search for "HamesClan Create" — it's an officially approved modpack.

Install and Launch the Modpack

Install the HamesClan Create modpack, then launch it from CurseForge.

The modpack will automatically download all required mods and dependencies

🔧 Connection Troubleshooting

Can't connect to OG Survival?

• Make sure you're using Minecraft Java Edition (not Bedrock)
• Check that your Minecraft version is 1.21.4
• Verify the server address is exactly: play.hamesclan.com
• Try restarting Minecraft if connection fails

Can't connect to Create Modpack?

• Verify whitelist approval: Same whitelist requirement applies to modded servers
• Ensure you're using the HamesClan Create Modpack (not vanilla Minecraft)
• Check that all mods loaded properly in CurseForge
• Verify modpack version is 1.21.1
• Try reinstalling the modpack if connection issues persist
